Autumn 2024 at Blank Street was inspired by home-cooked flavors, with a Pumpkin Spice Latte and Banana Bread Matcha taking center stage. I built an art direction for the campaign centered around the nostalgic feeling of a day spent in grandma’s kitchen.

After sketching out various autumnal themes like pumpkin patches, scout camp, and back to school, I landed on a cozy kitchen scene. The setting felt most in line with the seasonal flavors, and flipped the visual trope of a freshly-baked pie cooling on the windowsill into a hot drink cooling before a sip. Marcus McDonald and his team built our kitchen area from scratch, providing a warm, nostalgic setting which seeped into every bit of the campaign.

The campaign was brought to life in activations across the US and UK, which turned regular Blank Streets into cozy, inviting spaces - complete with doilies and throw pillows - for customers to enjoy game nights, crocheting, and cocktails inspired by each autumn drink.
